Five-year agreement with a major global engineering and professional services firm integrates Iris deformation intelligence directly into its tailings management platform, giving engineers access within the workflows they already use.

EarthDaily has announced a five-year commercial agreement to provide InSAR-based deformation monitoring for the tailings management platform of a global engineering and professional services firm.

Under the agreement, EarthDaily has been selected as the firm’s preferred InSAR provider for tailings monitoring. Iris, EarthDaily’s interactive deformation intelligence platform, will be integrated into the engineering firm’s existing platform, giving its mining customers direct access to surface movement data, historical trends and deformation analytics within established engineering workflows. This means engineers can access deformation intelligence without moving into a separate application or creating another standalone monitoring workflow.

The first deployment will support a major global mining company, replacing a periodic, report-based process with interactive deformation monitoring integrated into the engineering workflow its teams already use. Engineers will be able to examine deformation histories, investigate specific areas of interest and work directly with satellite-derived measurements rather than waiting for the next report to be compiled and delivered.
