Renewals validate Marigold’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality mineral intelligence across complex global exploration programs

EarthDaily has announced that two of the world’s largest mining companies have renewed their use of the Marigold mineral intelligence software, demonstrating its sustained value across large-scale global exploration programs.

The renewals, each six figure contracts, reflect continued confidence in Marigold’s analysis-ready remote sensing data, advanced spectral processing and exploration-specific analytics. One of the companies renewed following a competitive evaluation of remote-sensing solutions, selecting Marigold for the consistency and quality of its outputs and its ability to support confident geological decision-making.

Both companies will continue using Marigold to evaluate prospective areas, analyze mineral and structural features and guide decisions about where to focus exploration resources. EarthDaily is also enhancing the software with new analytical and AI capabilities. As data from the purpose-built EarthDaily Constellation becomes available, its science-grade, high-resolution spectral observations will provide an additional proprietary input for mineral mapping, geological interpretation and large-area exploration analysis.

“Renewals are a strong measure of whether technology is delivering sustained operational value. Our customers manage complex exploration programs and need mineral intelligence they can trust. Two of them choosing to continue with Marigold, including one following a competitive evaluation, validates the quality of the platform and its role in helping geologists make confident exploration decisions,” said Steve Davis, Director, Energy and Mining, EarthDaily.

From Spectral Data to Exploration Decisions

Demand for critical minerals is increasing as governments and industries work to secure the materials needed for energy, infrastructure and advanced technologies. At the same time, many readily identifiable deposits have already been discovered, pushing exploration into larger, more remote and geologically complex areas. Declining ore grades and greater scrutiny of exploration spending are also increasing pressure on mineral exploration teams to identify prospective targets earlier and make disciplined decisions about where to deploy field resources and capital.

Satellite data can accelerate that work, but turning raw spectral information into geological insight has traditionally required extensive preprocessing and specialist remote-sensing expertise.

Marigold combines EarthDaily’s exclusive Bare Earth Composites, cloud-accelerated processing and exploration-specific analytics in an all-in-one toolkit built for geologists. The platform enables exploration teams to:

  • Map alteration minerals, lithology and structural trends using advanced spectral tools and geologically meaningful indices.
  • Process and interpret multispectral and hyperspectral datasets across areas without preprocessing.
  • Integrate remote-sensing outputs with geological, geophysical and geochemical information in established GIS and exploration workflows.
  • Prioritize prospective targets and focus field programs before committing additional resources on the ground.

Marigold’s GIS-like interface makes advanced remote-sensing analysis accessible without requiring deep specialist expertise. Its cloud-based processing helps teams move from raw spectral data to geologically meaningful outputs in hours rather than weeks, supporting exploration at scales ranging from individual tenements to entire geological provinces.

EarthDaily continues to develop Marigold around the evolving analytical and workflow needs of exploration teams, helping geologists extract more value from increasingly diverse Earth observation datasets.

Exploration geologists from major/tier 1 miners through to junior explorers use Marigold for exploration insights, including the evaluation of new tenements, refinement of field programs and large-scale mineral prospectivity mapping. By bringing Earth observation data, geological analysis and scalable processing together, Marigold helps exploration teams move from pixels to prospects with greater speed and confidence.
