 At this stage, areas of the U.S. Corn Belt experiencing low soil moisture levels ① are not yet showing a clear decline in crop vigor ②. However, the situation will need to be closely monitored over the coming weeks as crops enter their most critical growth stages for yield potential.

Yes

 Favorable soil moisture levels observed in Argentina's wheat-growing region in recent days ① are expected to remain high over the coming days ②. This is excellent news for both the wheat and barley crops.

Australia - Does a dry pattern appear to be developing across the country?

Yes

 Although water reserves remain adequate thanks to abundant rainfall received since the beginning of the season in Australia ①, the dry pattern observed in recent days is expected to persist over the coming days ②. There is no immediate concern at this stage, but the situation will need to be monitored closely, particularly given the risk of prolonged drought associated with El Niño.

Europe - Is the extreme drought continuing?

 Vegetation indices are below average across the eastern spring wheat-growing region ①, with NDVI profiles indicating very early crop senescence, likely resulting in a deterioration of yield potential ②.
