Taca Taca, Argentina

Exploration reports

Taca Taca is a world‑class, undeveloped porphyry deposit in Salta Province, Argentina, hosting abundant copper, gold and molybdenum mineralization shaped by classic porphyry‑style hydrothermal systems.

Sitting at 3,800 m elevation in the Puna, it features an estimated 32 – 34 year mine life with processing capacity of ~60 Mt/y, targeting annual output of ~250 000 t Cu, ~115 000 oz Au and ~3 000 t Mo. Its geological setting—a multiphase porphyritic intrusive complex with potassic and phyllic alteration—offers clear analogues to other Andean porphyries.

While proximity to existing infrastructure and ongoing ESIA/permitting work make it a compelling near‑term development opportunity for exploration and mine‑planning geologists.
