SynMax Expands EarthDaily Constellation Subscription to Support Energy Analytics
New EarthDaily Constellation (EDC) imagery subscription will support SynMax’s Hyperion Platform and its expansion into new analytics offerings.
EarthDaily Constellation (EDC) imagery will now be integrated into SynMax’s oil and gas intelligence platform for financial markets, Hyperion. This builds on the agreement announced earlier in the year, under which SynMax receives access to tens of millions of square kilometers of daily, analysis-ready imagery from the EarthDaily Constellation covering global maritime areas,
Under the new subscription, SynMax will use EDC data to monitor and analyze upstream energy production activity around the world. SynMax will also use the subscription as a springboard to move into other global analytics offerings.
“SynMax is a strong example of how EarthDaily Constellation data can support multiple intelligence applications within the same organization. Our relationship began with a subscription supporting SynMax’s Theia maritime platform, and this new agreement brings EDC into additional lines of their business. We see significant opportunity to continue growing our relationship as SynMax applies EarthDaily’s consistent, science-grade Earth observation data across a variety of their services,” said Sam Lieff, Vice President, Data, EarthDaily.
The EarthDaily Constellation is designed for consistent, repeatable observation of the planet, providing calibrated, analysis-ready data across 22 spectral bands. Its combination of daily revisit, broad-area coverage and science-grade measurements is designed to support applications that depend on detecting and analyzing change over time.
